Moulakshi (Mou) Roychowdhury, PharmD, JD Director of Regulatory Affairs – Global Advertising & Labeling, Forest Laboratories

Dr. Roychowdhury graduated from Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, Rutgers University with a PharmD in 2004.  From 2005 to 2008, she worked in various capacities in Medical Affairs at Berlex Laboratories and Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals, and throughout this time, she attended Brooklyn Law School in the evenings and graduated with a J.D. in 2008.  In 2008, Dr. Chowdhury transitioned to Global Regulatory Affairs, Advertising & Promotion at Bayer, where she discovered a niche in combining the pharmacy and legal backgrounds. Since then, she has worked at Genzyme Corporation and Biogen Idec, in similar capacities, advising companies on advertising and promotional compliance with FDA regulations. Currently, Dr. Roychowdhury is working at Forest Laboratories with a global focus

At Bayer and Biogen Idec, Dr. Roychowdhury was actively involved in Pharm.D. program rotations and Post-Doctoral Fellowships as a preceptor and mentor.  She is also on the founding advisory board of Boston Young Healthcare Professionals, an organization created to connect emerging and passionate healthcare leaders in the greater Boston area to foster strong relationships and build knowledge across all healthcare disciplines (www.byhp.org)
